I think its fair to say, everyone enjoyed the pool fun day.....!
All the junior tickets for the Murrayfield trip have been booked. We will now open a reserve list and anyone wishing to be put on that list can do so by emailing jedminirugby@googlemail.com anyone also wishing to book an adult ticket can do so by emailing the same email address.
Please remember, if you booked tickets for the trip, you MUST pay for them on or before the 1st Training session on the 25th January otherwise they will be forfeited and allocated to someone on the reserve list.
Finally,
Did any of your children return home from the pool on Sunday with 2 pairs of swimming shorts? A pair of turquoise swimming shorts have been lost and do not seem to have been left behind at the swimming pool, if you do have them, can you please let either us know so we can have them returned to their owners.

Scotland v Wales Murrayfield Trip 8th February 2009
We have managed to secure 45 junior tickets and 40 adult tickets for the Scotland v Wales match at Murrayfield on the 8th Feb 2009. We will be opening a 1st come 1st served basis list on Sunday 21st Dec 2008 at the fun day at the swimming pool.
Please note the following important information regarding these tickets:
Prices:
Junior Ticket £10 each
Adult Ticket £30 each
Bus £6 each
All children in P1 to P4 that wish to attend must be accompanied by an adult; each child ticket booked will secure an adult ticket as long as there are adult tickets available.
All tickets booked must be paid for in full before or on the 25th January 2009 (1st Training day after winter break) Tickets not paid for will be forfeited and allocated to 1st come on the reserve list.

Club Shop
Please note:
The club shop will be open tomorrow morning after the bus leaves for the game at Selkirk between 10:00am and 10:30am.
This is to enable everyone to collect any orders they have placed and also make those last minute purchases!

Trip to Murrayfield
I would like to congratulate all the boys who attended the international game at Murrayfield against South Africa. Reports received back from your coaches were excellent and because of that we have applied for tickets for the Scotland v Wales game on Sunday 8th February 2009. Please keep an eye out for emails and letters (only for those that do not have email) regarding this in the next couple of weeks as we are not back at training until 25th January and until we have been told what our ticket allocation is we are unable to say who will be able to go.

Can I ask all parents who have access to email to register on the Jed mini rugby website as this will be the only form of email contact that we will be providing from January. If you have previously advised us that you hold an email address we will not be contacting you via text message, letter or phone from January therefore it is essential that you complete the registration process ASAP. Only those parents who advise us that they do not have an email address will receive updates in any other form. WE WILL STILL USE PHONE CONTACT IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS SO PLEASE BE AVAILABLE AT THE NUMBERS YOU HAVE GIVEN US.
If you want information on the International you must register for the website if you have an email address.

Away game at Selkirk v Selkirk and Duns. Bus leaving Canongate bus station at 10am. Ages P3-P7 are invited.
Sunday 21st December
We have again arranged our annual trip to the swimming pool for Sunday 21st December at 11am. This is open to all age groups, however if your child cannot swim it will be your responsibility to ensure that he or she is wearing armbands and is adequately supervised - go in with your child if you wish!
Bad Weather Arrangements
If you have any doubts about whether or not matches or training will be going ahead due to the weather conditions please listen to Radio Borders, check your emails and the blog & if you’re still unsure contact your coach or myself.
Finally
For all those that have ordered goods from the shop I have been advised that everything should be available next week. I shall take all ordered items to Selkirk and the swimming pool to allow them to be collected and paid for then. For those of you that still wish to purchase items you may still do so either by calling me on 07962186075 or emailing me at cherrydean@tiscali.co.uk.
